The Spectrum Portal is designed to provide one-stop shopping to a wealth of computer resources at the University of Memphis. Almost all U of M online services are available by way of the Spectrum portal—just log in, click on the link within the portal that takes you to the service, and the portal will automatically log you into the service. Listed below is just a sample of the resources available by way of Spectrum Portal: Online courses—access online courses via the eCampus Student tab if you are a student, or the eCampus Faculty tab if you are a faculty member. Fee payment and refunds—the Account$ tab contains all things financial. Students can view financial awards, pay fees, use a tuition estimator, look for an on-campus job, and receive a wealth of information about financial aid. SIRs—if you are a student, use the Student tab to access to complete SIRS evaluations and view SIRS reports. If you are a faculty member, look on the Faculty tab to view the number of students that have completed a SIRS evaluation for your classes. Faculty CV (FCV)—if you are a faculty member, look on the Faculty tab to enter and update your electronic CV. Spectrum Banner—administrative software for university faculty, staff and students. Access to different parts of Banner will be dispersed among various portal tabs and channels, depending upon your role at the university. Functions provided by Banner include student registration and faculty advising. Group Studio—collaboration utility for university clubs, departments, project teams, etc. Group studio offers a news and message board area, listing place for links of interest, group chat, and more. Accessible using the 'groups' icon in the portal.
