IBM HPC Facility

SPM

• 1 - 16 processor x 64 GB memory (1.5 GHz Power5) (IBM p575)
• 5 -   8 processor x 16 GB memory (1.9 GHz Power5) (IBM p575)
• AIX

SAN

• ~ 10.5 TB storage raw  (~ 7 TB usage)

Backup

• IBM 3582-L23 Tape Library with 2 LTO tape drives. The library will hold 24 cartridges giving a capacity of 19.2 TB compressed.

Speeds

• Cluster Sub-System: 716 GFlops
• Shared Memory Sub-System: 400 GFlops
• Total System: 1.1 Teraflops (1116 GFlops)
